Why convert MP4 to MP3?
Both MP4 and MP3 use lossy compression, so the conversion mainly changes compatibility, not quality. The main reason to convert MP4 to MP3 is compatibility: MP3 plays on virtually any device or app without an extra codec, while MP4 isn't built for that.
