Terms of Service
Last updated: August 15, 2026.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Convyx (the "Service") operated at convyx.io. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
Accounts & access
You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials and API keys confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend access for abuse, security risk, or non-payment.
Acceptable use
You may only upload content you have the right to process. You may not attempt to bypass plan limits, rate limits, or security controls; probe other customers' data; or use the Service to distribute malware or illegal content.
Plans, quotas & billing
Plan limits (file size, monthly conversions, retention, API access) are described on the pricing page and enforced by the Service. Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment provider (Polar). Failed conversion attempts still count toward monthly quotas because processing resources are consumed when a job starts.
Cancellation & refunds
You may cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal to stop future renewals. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, fees already charged are non-refundable and access continues through the paid billing period. If you believe a charge was duplicated or made in error, contact support with the Polar order reference so we can investigate. This policy does not limit statutory cancellation or refund rights that apply in your jurisdiction.
Files & retention
Uploaded files and conversion results are stored only as needed to deliver the Service and are deleted according to the retention window you select (subject to your plan). We do not claim ownership of your content.
Disclaimer & liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Convyx is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data beyond our retention commitments. Aggregate liability for paid plans is limited to fees paid in the three months preceding the claim.
