What actually happens to your file
Convyx unpacks your ZIP and writes a standard RAR 5 archive with every file stored, not compressed — RAR's compression algorithm is proprietary to RARLAB, so the RAR comes out close to your files' uncompressed size and usually larger than the ZIP. Folder structure, file names (including non-Latin ones) and modification times carry over, and each file is CRC-checked. The result opens in WinRAR/UnRAR, 7-Zip, The Unarchiver, and libarchive-based tools such as Windows 11's built-in RAR support.

Uploads use TLS in transit and AES-256 SSE-S3 at rest in production (when the production S3 credential gate is enabled), are processed in an isolated job, and deleted on the schedule you choose — as fast as immediately.
